Charlie Harford
Colonel Henry Harford C.B. was an experienced military officer who played a significant role in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. He first served as a lieutenant in the Natal Native Contingent before going on to resume his commission and adjutancy of hi own regiment during the war. He became Colonel of the 99th (Wiltshire) Regiment and was invested a Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (CB) in 1907.
