Cheri L Hallwood

Cheri L. Hallwood is the award-winning author/publisher of Winter's First Snowflake, The Curious Polka-Dot Present, One Wish for Winifred Witch, and Frogwilla, A Treefrogs Story. She is a four-time recipient of the prestigious Mom's Choice Award and the Dove Foundation Family Seal. But first and foremost, she will tell you she is the proud mother of three talented daughters and six amazing grandchildren - all girls.

When not writing or spending time with her family, Cheri enjoys sharing her passion for writing by speaking with pre-school and school age children, teachers, and community organizations throughout the Midwest.

Cheri is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association, the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, and the National Philanthropic Organization, Psi Iota Xi. She lives in Niles, Michigan with her husband, Harry.
