Cherise HarrisCherise Harris is an illustrator living in Barbados. She enjoys creating narratives with her work, and making sculptures and building puppets. Her work centres around an interest in fairytale and its role in telling deep and meaningful stories. Storis to do with feelings, conversations with self, and inevitably, the things that people may not always be able to talk about out loud. Cherise uses pencil, watercolour and clay, exploring her ideas in both 2D and 3D form. She received her Associate Degree in Visual Arts from the Barbados Community College, her BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and most recently completed her MA in Illustration: Authorial Practice at Falmouth University in the UK.
