Chris DeMarcoChris served his country as a LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol) Ranger. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds in combat. From his time in the military through his decades-long musical career, his commitment to being true to himself and remining uncompromisingly honest in his music has never wavered. Each highlighted song is personal and reflects Chris' journey of love, dreams and war. The Cherry Boy Chronicles is his first book. Chris DeMarco began his musical career in 1969 with the band North. Throughout the 70's he moved between Hollywood, New York City and Paris playing with a virtual who's who of rock musicians and in 1977, signed his band Riff Raff to Island Records. Chris has also given his musical influence to documentaries, television and radio commercials as well as two film scores. Troma's War released in 1988 by Troma Entertainment featured music composed and produced by DeMarco, including the title track Alive. Toxic Avenger III - The Last Temptation of Toxie was released in 1989 with music composed and produced by Chris DeMarco based on the music of Antonin Dvorak. Chris and his wife Charlotte left New York in 1994 and settled in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Since 2007 Chris has released six albums and a vinyl release of the Toxic Avenger III soundtrack.
