She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Interdisciplinary Stuies. She lives on a small hobby farm in North Texas with her husband of 32 years and all their fur babies. When she isn't working, she enjoys growing a vegetable garden, hiking, photography, helping her husband work on classic trucks and of course, reading.
