Christopher HammondChristopher Hammond was born in Windsor and, after obtaining a degree in physics, pursued a long career in medical imaging. However, music has been central to his life, from the excitement of hearing Elvis and Little Richard as a small boy, to churchand university choirs, and eventually to membership of numerous rock bands. As well as the electric version, the classical guitar has been a constant companion since his teenage years when he first listened to the mastery of Segovia and Bream. He has enjoyed a happy marriage of nearly forty years and has two daughters, both of whom are talented musicians.
