Christopher R LoseyChristopher Losey grew up in Calistoga, a small town at the northern Napa Valley of California. Following high school, he attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. After graduation, Chris served out his five-year military cmmitment as an infantry officer at Fort Lewis, Washington. Sensing a call to ministry, Chris left active duty to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He then reentered active-duty military as an Air Force Chaplain. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Chris served for twenty more years as senior pastor of Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael, California. He and his wife Sharon have two children and eight grandchildren. Along with spending time with family and friends, Chris enjoys writing, the outdoors, playing guitar, and golfing.
