Claire PrineasClaire Prineas' illustrations were first published in the Rutgers Universitystudent newspaper, The Daily Targum. Originally from Summit, New Jersey in the USA, Claire lived in France while completing her BA at the Université de Tours and became a comitted Francophile. She has worked in magazine publishing for many years, including time as cartoon Editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine, New York. After moving to Australia she studied oil painting at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney. She has a studio practice at her Sydney home where she specialises in portrait painting.
