Clara IonescuProf. Dr. Clara Mihaela Ionescu is the holder of the Flanders Research Foundation FWO post-doctoral scholarship at Ghent University. She is author of more than 150 scientific papers of which more than 100 cited in Web of Science, with an h-index of 1.

Currently she is involved in 5 international projects with both industrial and biomedical applications, for identification and control. She was a member of the European Respiratory Society 2006-2008 and she was the first to coin the link between fractional order impedance models for respiratory properties to actual physiology and morphology of the lungs.
