Clare ElliottClare Frances Elliott is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Northumbria University. She is interested in transatlantic literary connections in the long nineteenth century and is the co-editor with Michael Patrick Cullinane of International Persectives on Presidential Leadership (2014) and (with Andrew Hook) of Francis Jeffrey's American Journal: New York to Washington 1813 (2011).
