Claudio NaranjoClaudio Naranjo, M.D. (1932-2019), was a well-known psychiatrist, philosopher, professor, and university researcher from Chile. He was a Fulbright scholar at Harvard, a Guggenheim fellow at Berkeley, a council member of the Education Policy Research enter at the Stanford Research Institute, and a professor at UC Santa Cruz, the California Institute of Integral Studies. He was a pioneer in the use of psychedelics for psychotherapy and was known for his long collaboration with Alexander “Sasha” Shulgin.
