Cliff MarshThe author attributes his interest in buses to his childhood when he would visit his Grandparents and, sitting in their front room, see in late afternoons what seemed an endless stream of pre- and post-war buses passing the house. This interest develped when travelling to both school and college he could sample a variety of vehicles and their operators. In due course he became involved in the part ownership and restoration of a number of vehicles. Together with a colleague he bought one of the vehicles described in this book and during the 40 years of their ownership the historical significance of this batch of 35 vehicles became increasingly obvious.
