Clifford Hanley

Clifford Hanley was a well-known Glasgow journalist, broadcaster and novelist. In addition to his journalism, he is best known for writing the words to Scotland’s unofficial national anthem, Scotland the Brave.’  He wrote many boos under his own name, and a number of thriller under the  pen-name Henry Calvin He also wrote film and TV scripts. He died in 1999.
