Connor Flanagan

Connor is an Irish illustrator and graduate from The University of Ulster, Belfast with a BA Hons in Visual Communication, specialising in screen based imaging. He worked predominantly in the field of film and video for over a decade as both a camraman and video editor on short films, corporate videos, equestrian events and music videos: Connor was an EPK camera operator on the movie ‘Grabbers’ (2012). His early art and design career involved providing Illustrations for Eleven Plus practice papers, and setting design for stage productions such as The Wizard of Oz for Craic Theatre. He also redesigned the school crest for his old primary school, The Primate Dixon in Coalisland, still brandished on the uniforms of pupils some 20 years later! Connor returned to illustration in 2018 with his comic work as penciller and inker on Space Precinct: Reloaded. The graphic novel Operation Sabre is his debut work as both artist and colourist.
