CorreiaIn 1993, Connie Correia founded Small Potatoes Press, a boutique publishing house that produced a dozen books, and Cuizine, a foodie magazine covering South Jersey and Philadelphia. In 2005, pregnant with her second baby and having just opened The Po Shop restaurant in Collingswood, Connie published what she thought would be her last book - fittingly a book about motherhood. She "retired" from publishing, as the restaurant's birth, plus new baby Dashiell left little time for publishing.In 2023, as that "new baby" turned 17, Correia dreamed of publishing again - this time with her son, Dashiell Grey, a high school junior, as the author. In November 2023, Dashiell's first book of poetry -- "The Diary Young" -- was published by Small Potatoes Press."Dashiell is incredibly inspiring - both for his talent and his commitment to writing," says Correia.
