Craig A BauerCraig A. Bauer is a native of New Orleans with a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi. A member of the Louisiana Historical Association, the Southern Historical Association, the Organization of American Historians, Bauer is also a charte member, board member, and past-president of the Jefferson Historical Society of Louisiana. Bauer has contributed numerous articles to scholarly journals and is the author of Creole Genesis: The Bringer Family and Antebellum Plantation Life in Louisiana (ULL Press, 2011).
