Craig GrimesCraig Grimes began working in tourism for disabled people through writing travel articles for various disability magazines in the UK. In 2001 he moved to Barcelona and established AccessibleBarcelona, an online guide and destination management compan providing services such as accommodation bookings, adapted airport transfers, guided tours and equipment hire for disabled people. Through AccessibleBarcelona he developed innovative ways of providing tourism information for people with disabilities through the use of descriptive text, photographs, diagrams and video, utilized to show facilities for disabled people at hotels and tourism attractions. This video is not just for wheelchair users but for those from any disability perspective. Craig established Experience Community in 2011, which is a social enterprise to provide video guides, day trips and holidays for disabled people in the UK and it is also involved in making films and providing access advice to local authorities, large non-governmental organizations and National Parks.
