Crystal HayCrystal Hay (1916-2004) was born in Alberta but grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She endured the difficult years of the Great Depression and World War Two. Her husband, Bill, suffering from a brain injury incurred overseas, died in 1963. She earned herLPN and raised their daughter and four sons.
