He is practicing international human rigts lawyer who has brought cases before the European, Inter-American, African and United Nations bodies. He has represented senior government officials, including Heads of State as well as refugees, internally displaced persons, indigenous peoples and individuals before international and domestic tribunals. He regularly lectures at universities in Europe, Asia, African and the Middle East and currently is a visiting Professor of law at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland.
