D.(Organic Chemistry), Presently R&D Manager, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Amity Institution of Higher Education and 'Head', Amity Institute of Phytomedicines, Amity University Campus, Noida, since March 2005, having 18 years ast experience on R&D, QC, QA, Scale-up from Pilot Plant to Commercial Production, of Standardized Herbal Extracts, Pure Phytochemicals, Nutraceuticals, Cosmaceuticals and Essential Oils, using GLPs, WHO-GMP, ISO 9001: 2000 certified facilities, in different organizations, with job of technical services to international customers, consumers, on the product(s). Extraction of various Herbal ingredients by different techniques, purification by means of solvent-solvent exchange, pH variation, column chromatography, flash chromatography, size exclusion chromatography and preparative HPLC, crystallization by solvent-solvent, as well as solvent-solute interaction, etc. are the area of interest of the Author. Development of STPs, SOPs and Process Validation (Analytical and Manufacturing) with developing the art for Chemical Finger Prints, using TLC, HPTLC, HPLC, GLC, UV-Vis., IR etc. technologies, are part of his routine job. Before joining Amity Group, he has worked with Sunita Minechem Industries-Jodhpur, Sanat Products Ltd and Alchem International Ltd, after Ph. D. in Natural Product Chemistry from ITRC-Lucknow. He has throughout first class Academic Career, 18 Research Publications in various journals, 16 Research Paper Presentations in national and international Seminars/Workshops, filed 15 Process and 6 Product Patents, based on Herbals. Besides industrial activities, he is actively engaged in Academics as presently, PI and Co-PI, for 6 Research Projects.
