D Tagare D M Tagare is the Chairman of the technical committee on power capacitors of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). He is also the chairman of the Power Engineering Society (PE) of Bombay Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engieers of USA (IEEE). D M Tagare graduated in electrical and mechanical engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune in 1946-47.
