D. H. Frost

Daveth H. Frost was the Principal of Holy Cross College and University Centre, Bury, Lancashire.

He is the author of ‘Sacrament an Alter: A Tudor Cornish Patristic Catena’ in Cornish Studies: Eleven (2003) and ‘Glsney’s Parish Clergy and the Tregear Manuscript’ in Cornish Studies: Fifteen (2008), both edited by Philip Payton. Daveth has also contributed patristic references and commentary as part of the online Variorum Edition of John Foxe’s Book of Martyrs. He was a part of the advisory committee assisting in the restoration of Llandeilo Talybont at the St Fagan’s National History Museum in Wales and contributed to Saving St Teilo’s: Bringing a Medieval Church to Life edited by Gerallt D. Nash (National Museum of Wales Books 2009).

With special interests in the pre‑Reformation Church in Cornwall, Wales and Brittany, he is currently jointly editing, with Benjamin Bruch, the 16th century Cornish translation of Bishop Bonner’s Homilies which was made by the priest John Tregear, alongside associated material by his fellow priest, Thomas Stephen.
