D. NarayanaD. Narayana, Former Director, Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation, Thiruvananthapuram, is Chairman of Kerala Public Expenditure Review Committee. He is a renowned economist, researcher and statistician. He holds a PhD from India Statistical Institute. He held the Reserve Bank of India Chair at Centre for Development Studies during 2001–2012. He is the chairman of the committee on implementation of Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi, Kerala, in alignment with Ayushman Bharat: Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. He has published numerous articles in reputed national and international journals on health, state finance, decentralization, issues of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities, agriculture, irrigation and migrant labour. He has authored and co-edited many books and monographs.
