Dan Wymbs HarderDan Harder is an award-winning author who has published poetry books, a novel, children's books, opera librettos, newspaper features, and academic articles. His commentaries have been heard on NPR. He is also a playwright whose play, A Killer Story, as nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. His first opera, Zipperz, was recently released by Ghostlight/Warner Records and he recently received a commission to write the libretto for a dramatic oratorio about Paul Robeson. His past includes working as a cowboy on the Cojo-Jalama Ranch at Point Conception; as a translator, director of a sailing school, and crepe chef in France; as a grunt pulling chain in an Oregon lumber mill; as a teacher of English and Philosophy at the French American International School in San Francisco; and as an owner of a successful café and catering business.
