Dana VillaDana Villa is the Packey J. Dee Professor of Political Theory at the University of Notre Dame. He has written a number of books and articles on Hannah Arendt, and has also published on Socrates, Tocqueville, Hegel, Mill, Weber, and the Frankfurt Schol. His books on Arendt include Arendt, Politics, Philosophy, Terror: Essays on the Thought of Hannah Arendt, and Arendt and Heidegger: The Fate of the Political. Villa has won fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute for Advanced Studies, and the American Council of Learned Societies.
