Danny Ramadan
Danny Ramadan is an award-winning Syrian-Canadian author, public speaker and advocate for LGBTQ+ refugees. His debut novel The Clothesline Swing won the Independent Publisher Book Award for LGBT Fiction, was shortlisted for the Evergreen Awrd, the Sunburst Award and the 2018 Lambda Award for Gay Fiction. Danny has received the 2017 StandOut Award for his social activism, the Bonham Centre Award for Excellency and was named among the RBC's Top Immigrants to Canada.
