Darren Flint
Darren Flint has worked across the UK and Australia before recently settling as a relative newcomer in Dumfries and Galloway. He keeps his love affair with his home territory, East Anglia, alive with regular visits to his caravan in Suffolk. Aftera career in tourism development and then conservation with the RSPB, he completed a Masters in Environmental Conservation from UCL. An avid naturalist with a fascination for butterflies, he likes nothing better than donning his boots and uncovering those hidden corners we all dream about. He is the project officer for two community environmental ventures: Castle Loch in Lochmaben and Moffat Community Nature Reserve; as well as co-owner of Summerlea House B&B in Moffat.
