Dave Holmes

Dave Holmes is a comic, an actor, a writer, and a television personality based in Los Angeles. After working five years as an MTV VJ, he has hosted shows for CBS, Bravo, Comedy Central, E!, FX, History, and most recently American Canvas<i> for Ovation. He is a contributor to Esquire; a former writer for Vulture; and a performer at Upright Citizens Brigade, IO West, and Second City theaters. He was named one of NPR's 10 Favorite Pop Culture Personalities and is a frequent guest on such podcasts as Nerdist, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and Crybabies.
