David B KrierDavid Krier, MD, MSPH has a long history of practicing family medicine in rural Oregon. In addition, he has worked as the medical director of several health insurance companies and a large medical group, as well as director on multiple projects evaluting the quality of healthcare practices. David is the founder of Volunteer Voyages LLC, a company that endeavors to enrich the lives of people living in remote places throughout the world―and the volunteers he takes to work with them. The projects he helps to develop, through collaboration with local community leaders, business professionals, consultants, and even tribal chiefs, bring many rewards to these remote families and communities. The projects initially focused on healthcare, but over time became general in nature so that everyone could participate. David lives on a farm in Western Oregon with his wife. He enjoys spending time with his four daughters and their families, including eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
