David BowersDavid Bowers is Professor Emeritus of Oceanography at Bangor University, Wales. He co-wrote the standard textbook in the subject, Introducing Oceanography (Dunedin, 2012), as well as the Very Short Introduction to Tides (OUP, 2019).
