Aftr this service was terminated, I became a whistleblower, exposing how clinical care inefficiencies increased hospital acute care days and, consequently, hospital revenue. In retaliation, the LA County Administration fired me and had the California Medical Board revoke my medical license. My book, Whistleblower Doctor-The Politics and Economics of Pain and Dying, details this story.Since leaving clinical practice in 1998, I've dedicated myself to researching and writing about numerous evidence-based medicine topics.
