David KnudsonDavid and Mary Lou Knudson founded the National Historic Route 66 Federation in 1994 to save as much as possible of the then-neglected, historic road before it was completely gone. The Federation spearheaded the National Route 66 Preservation Bill fo over four years until it became law in 1999.
