David Paul WernerDavid Paul Werner is organist, composer and teacher serving Church of All Nations, Hong Kong, and some of Hong Kong's most eminent schools. In the centuried tradition of the liturgical church, Werner has been composing organ and choral music since hewas a boy. By means of a scholarship awarded in an organ competition, Werner studied organ performance and church music history at the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University, most notably with Robert Reuter and George M. Williams. He studied piano, composition and theory with Lane Emery, Ralph Dodds and Joseph Urbinato. He has served as organist at St. Peter's Cathedral, Marquette, Mich., and as director of music at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Elmhurst, Ill. Werner has made Hong Kong his home since 1988 where he concurrently founded and managed a pan-Asian wireless infrastructure company. He holds degrees in organ performance and electronics engineering. In addition to published organ music, Werner has had works on telecommunications published by Cambridge University Press and McGraw-Hill.
