David RausJUDr. David Raus, Ph.D. graduated in law from the Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University in Brno, where he gained the titles, 'Mgr.' (1997), 'JUDr.' (1999), and 'Ph.D.' (2002). Formerly, he has worked in a law office specializing in commercal law, thereafter in the Czech Economic Competition Protection Office, where he has been the Director of the Legal Department and Chairman of the remonstrance committee - advisory authority of the Chairman of the Economic Competition Protection Office; subsequently, he has been an assistant judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic; currently, he is a judge of the Regional Court in Brno and specializes in disputes in the area of economic competition protection and assignment of public orders. He has for a long time participated in the preparation of legislation in the said areas of law; he is an external teacher in several universities (inter aliaMasaryk University in Brno), co-author of several commentaries on Acts from the areas of economic competition protection and assignment of public orders, co-author of several professional publications and author of tens of articles in the professional press.
