Dawn McDuffieDawn McDuffie has an MFA from Vermont College and has taught creative writing at Detroit's Scarab Club and Opera House. Her poems have appeared in Rattle, Driftwood, Diner, The MacGuffin, Feminist Studies,and the recent anthology Mona Poetica. An essay, "Humor in Poetry," was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her first chapbook, People in My Head, won the Heartlands Today contest in 1997 and her second, Carmina Detroit, was published by Adastra in 2006.
