Dayamon D. MathewDr. Dayamon D. Mathew is Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. He received his postgraduation and doctoral dgrees in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University and Indian Veterinary Research Institute, respectively. His areas of research are tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, biomaterials, and veterinary surgery and radiology and has contributed to more than 10 chapters for textbooks and was an editor for “Emerging concepts in Animal Science”. He has more than 50 articles in his name, presented more than 60 abstracts in different symposia/ conferences, and received many presentation awards. He has received Best Teacher Award in 2022 from the Indian Veterinary Association and Eminent Veterinarian award from the SAARC regional Veterinary Association in 2023.
