Deangelo L JelksAuthor DeAngelo L. Jelks is a father, soldier, and community activist who is from Atlanta, GA and lives in Chattanooga, TN. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development, and is currently a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Conseling. He is a Bronze Star Medal Recipient for Operation Iraqi Freedom and is building a non-profit organization for the families of troubled youth called Camp RUSU. He wrote this book to help youth process trauma and the emotions they experience during the post trauma process. DeAngelo is a survivor of childhood trauma, combat trauma, social media bullying, libel, and significant loss. He experienced a time in his life where he was at the lowest point he could be, and was able to pull himself back up to go on to do great things.
