Deborah ClearmanDeborah Clearman is the author of CONCEPCIÓN AND THE BABY BROKERS (Rain Mountain Press, 2017), TODOS SANTOS (Black Lawrence Press, 2010), and The Goose's Tale, a children's book she wrote and illustrated. Her short fiction has appeared in nuerous literary journals, including Witness, storySouth, and Beloit Fiction Journal. She is the former Program Director for NY Writers Coalition, and she teaches creative writing in such nontraditional venues as senior centers, public housing projects, and the jail for women on Rikers Island.
