She is passionate about reducing waste, and conserving resources, and living in concert with the natural world. Dee has earned numerous certifications as a leader in energy management, environmental design and construction, sustainable behavior, composting, and conservation. She shares her knowledge as an instructor, coach, author and consultant with people across the US and around the world, specializing in making even the most complicated topics simple. Dee is also the author of the children's book series, Mara Meets, releasing the first book in the series, Mara Meets Sandra's Sweet Rolls, in 2024 with several more in the works.
