Deidre MirandDeidre Mirand is an educator devoted to providing lessons in life and literature to today's youth. She has taught English Language Arts and writing for over 17 years. Encouraging young authors, she published a compilation of short stories titled, "Dram World" written by various students. Though Deidre has been a teacher and worked with children for over half of her life, she began questioning her purpose. On a road to self-discovery, she was diagnosed with MIT Family Translocation Renal Cell Carcinoma, a rare form of kidney cancer. This propelled her into finding her purpose in providing hope, help, and healing to those who doubt their God-given purpose on this earth. Her love for writing and mentoring encouraged her to launch her business as a Writing Coach, as she hopes to encourage future authors to get their stories out. Deidre is a Georgia girl with a Caribbean heart, a loving mother of one beautiful soul, a devoted daughter, a sister, and a mentor to many.
