Denise FilmerDenise Filmer (PhD, Translation Studies) is a research fellow in English language and translation at the University of Pisa, Italy. Adopting multimodal critical discourse analysis approaches, her research investigates the role of translation in mediarepresentations of political discourse, gender and sexuality, and the current migrant crisis.
