Dennis MortimerRichard Sydenham was born into an Aston Villa-supporting family in Birmingham in 1974. He became a journalist in 1994, writing predominantly on Warwickshire CCC and Aston Villa for Midlands newspapers. He wrote on international cricket for organisatins such as Reuters, the Associated Press, The Sunday Telegraph and Daily Star Sunday before starting his own sports management company, Big Star Creations.
