An accomplished investment banker and securities lawyer, Derek became a serial social entrepreneur in 1998 building companies in the areas of wireless access to provide dgital divide solutions, cultural performing arts digital distribution, youth development through video gaming, and is currently focused on global uses of digital currencies. Working on cutting edge solutions and building and managing companies in those spaces, Derek became aware of a number of personal traits that were limiting his effectiveness as a business leader and sought out a CEO coach that led him to a meditation practice used by the Central Intelligence Agency.Derek used that practice to identify and reduce the impact of self-imposed limitations, and work towards existing in an intuitive state that supported effective manifestation and creation in his work and personal life.
