Di HuDi Hu is Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering, at Central South University, China. He obtained his PhD from Central South University, on transportation engineering. He has been researching prestressed concrete structures for over 20years, including on bridge load tests, and has worked on the design of over ten bridges. He has previously been a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia, as well as being assigned by the China Ministry of Railways to Nigeria as part of an expert group on bridge engineering and steel bridge maintenance.
