Diana SouterDiana was born in Broken Hill and attended SCEGS Tamworth. She attended St Catherine's Waverley, UNE Armidale NSW, London College of Music and Slough Management College UK and UTS Sydney. She holds qualifications in Primary School Teaching, Adult Eduation, Human Resources Management, and Music. She has lived in Sydney, Melbourne and London and now Nelson Bay, combining careers of business with family. Diana was a candidate for the Federal Elections for the seat of Grayndler and in 1998 and was a delegate to the national women's Constitution Convention in Canberra. She has travelled widely visiting over 43 countries and has three adult children and three grandchildren.On moving to Nelson Bay in 2004 (supposedly to retire) she met and married Ron Souter (a singer) and in 2009 they established the first Community Choir in Port Stephens - the SeaSide Singers. As a writer, Diana has had many short stories published in magazines including in the NSW Government Seniors stories of 2022. A copy of her recently published memoirs "From the Hill to the Bay" by Diana Bennett-Mills-Souter is in the South Australian Library of Genealogy. Read More Read Less
