Ding Yan严丁、海客，是严明礼的笔名，1951年生，川籍旅德华侨。上世纪九十年代，漂洋过海，异乡为客，白手起家，小工奋斗成华商，无师自通，白丁修炼成作者。系欧美两地华文作协会员，出版和付梓的书有创业励志的《穷则思变》，去国怀乡的《海客诗语》，家族寻根的《湖广填川四百年》，巴蜀民俗的《老成都街巷唱词》。
