Dorothy D CresswellDorothy Cresswell is a wife, parent, grandparent, child, and grandchild, and citizen of life, who has experienced many loves and losses.As a parent and kindergarten teacher, she helped many children to say goodbye to pets, classroom hamsters, birds, nd even beautiful moths that had landed and died on the playground sidewalk. We contemplated life cycles together and created simple loving farewells.Now in retirement, Dorothy sings with Journey Home, a bedside hospice singing group, and co-leads the Healing Circle Singers, a group that believes that harmonies and singing can bring us peace and strength to face whatever the challenge of the hour may be. Dorothy enjoys reading, singing, playing pickleball, swimming, boating, and making new friends while working to make the world a fair, safe and peaceful place for everyone.
