Dorothy ShawDorothy Shaw grew up in Austin, Texas. She drew, painted, sculpted, carved, sewed, and crafted the world around her, feeding her creative hunger at libraries, museums, concert halls, theatre and the University (UT Austin) art department. Eventually se graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas in Arlington, and began a masters degree in synesthesia - the way we perceive and overlap sensory experiences.She worked as an art director and graphic designer at advertising agencies and design studios in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, metroplex, then opened dotgraphics, inc., in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the 90s.
