Dorri Warga

Dorri WargaDorri Warga was motivated to write her story through the joyous self-awakening she found while discovering her truth...her authentic self. In writing her memoirs, she allowed herself to reflect on how the universe works, providing opportunities in plces of darkness - within those moments came a breakthrough to a life filled with enthusiastically embracing opportunities. Dorri uses her sense of humour to create the energy of connection with others. By doing so, she hopes the load will be lighter for the lives she touches, especially during this time with COVID-19. Her life was not always easy. In fact, at times, it was downright scary. Yet, by remaining optimistic and trusting in the universe, she found ways to cope and thrive. Dorri believes that all storms and challenges present keys to moving forward. This is what enabled her to push through with the positive perception she had. One of the incredible aha moments in her life came when she recognized that all the name-calling and negative emotions that sought to crush her spirit were just noise - that the real person inside, the true identifying self, remained steadfast. At that moment, she knew she had the power to become who she sought to be. Throughout her career, Dorri worked with a diverse population of people and led her groups with deep empathy and an understanding of the issues directly related to them. As a Life and Career Coach, she committed to leading and not teaching. The respect she received in return provided her with feelings of appreciation, and it warmed her heart. Over the duration of six years, Dorri was diagnosed with four chronic illnesses. This was an adjustment, and she was, once again, called upon to reach inside to find her warrior spirit. She now encourages others with chronic illnesses to find the sun where shadows fall. Dorri has eight wonderful children and was a single parent for a considerable period of their lives. She met Drew and married him in 2005. They live in Peachland, British Columbia, where she finds peace and comfort at her happy place, the beach. Read More Read Less
