Douglas HouckDouglas Houck and his wife Nancy live in the Historic District of Punta Gorda. He is the author of four published books: The Legacy, The Visionary, For Fame and Glory, and the Illustrated History of Chautauqua County, the ounty where he grew up in western New York. Doug holds a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Fredonia, two Master's Degrees, and a Doctorate from the SUNY at Buffalo. Dr. Houck is a member of the Florida Writer's Association and the President of the Peace River Center for Writers at Edison State College.
